Thailand’s Cybercrime Investigation Bureau has apprehended a group of five individuals, including four Chinese and one Laotian, for allegedly participating in a fraudulent cryptocurrency investment scheme. The group is accused of deceiving over 3,200 Thai locals into investing more than $27 million, making it the largest loss from fraudulent cryptocurrency investments in the country.
